Retrieving Your Trading History Reports

Filter and save MT4 or MT5 trading history, view mobile history, collect Journal or Expert logs safely, and submit focused technical evidence without exposing secrets.

Trading history shows records for the currently connected ordinary MT4 or MT5 trading account. Copied Social Trading records remain in the Social Trading Investment Wallet and do not appear in the investor's MT4 or MT5 history.

Save a trading-history report in MT4 desktop

  1. Open Terminal → Account History.

  2. Right-click and choose All History, a predefined range or Custom Period.

  3. Right-click again and choose Save as Report or Save as Detailed Report if shown.

  4. Choose a location and open the saved HTML file in a browser.

Save a trading-history report in MT5 desktop

  1. Open Toolbox → History or press Ctrl+T if the Toolbox is hidden.

  2. Choose the required date range and view Orders, Deals or Positions as needed.

  3. Open the context menu and choose Report or the available save-report control.

  4. Choose the report type and save location.

View history on mobile

Open the History tab and select an available period or category. MT5 can separate Orders, Deals and Positions; MT4 categories and export controls differ by mobile build. If a file export is not available, reproduce the issue on desktop when possible or provide the exact mobile record details and timestamp through the secure support route.

What the history can show

  • complete symbol and order or position identifier;

  • order type, requested and executed volume;

  • open and close times and prices;

  • order state or deal result;

  • profit or loss, commission and swap where applicable;

  • Stop Loss, Take Profit and platform or server comments where available.

Collect Journal or Expert logs on desktop

  • MT4 platform events: open Terminal → Journal. Use the context menu to copy a focused entry or open the Logs folder/viewer. Expert Advisor logs are under Terminal → Experts and the MQL4/Logs folder.

  • MT5 platform events: open Toolbox → Journal. Expert Advisor and indicator events appear under Experts. Use the context menu to open the relevant log folder or viewer; platform logs and MQL5/Logs are separate.

  • Use the log date and the event timestamp to select only the entries related to the reported action.

View mobile Journal information

In current MT5 mobile builds, Journal is available from Settings on iOS and from the side panel on Android. MT4 mobile menu names and export options can differ. If Journal or export is unavailable, record the exact error, device/OS, app version, account/server, complete symbol and timestamp instead of guessing.

Submit evidence safely

  • Keep the original timestamp, error wording and relevant surrounding entries.

  • Hide unrelated account, device, path, contact and trading information.

  • Do not post complete logs or unrestricted screenshots in public chat or ordinary email.

  • Never include a trading password, investor/read-only password, one-time code, private key or seed phrase.

For account-specific technical review, use Client Portal → Service Hub → Create Ticket → FXTRADING.com Platforms → Available Infrastructure → MetaTrader platforms. Provide the account number, MT4 or MT5, server, complete symbol, intended action, exact error, timestamp and the minimum focused evidence required. Track replies under My support tickets.
