Which Markets Can I Access from MT5 iOS?

Review the Forex, metals, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrency CFD markets available on MT5 iOS, and configure instruments shown in the Quotes panel.

The MT5 iOS app can display and trade eligible instruments available to your current account. The list may differ from desktop and depends on legal entity, region, account type, platform configuration, product availability, and current market status. Use the Quotes panel to see what is available.

MT5 on iPhone or iPad supports mobile monitoring and order entry. Available markets, functions, and execution can differ from desktop and depend on the current app version, iOS and device compatibility, permissions, network connection, and trading conditions; mobile use does not guarantee a seamless or identical experience.

To configure your visible markets in the MT5 iOS app:

  1. Open the MT5 application on your iOS device

  2. Tap on the "Quotes" tab at the bottom of the screen

  3. Tap the search field at the top of Quotes and enter the exact instrument name, including any suffix.

  4. Select the matching symbol group if needed, find the intended instrument and tap the add control beside it. Group names depend on the assigned server.

  5. Tap Done, return to Quotes and check that the intended instrument is listed.

Manage and interpret your Quotes list

Tap a symbol to open its context menu. Chart opens its chart; Properties shows the instrument’s configured terms and sessions. Trade opens order entry and is not shown when the app is disconnected from the server. Check the selected account and instrument before any order.

To hide or reorder symbols, use the edit control at the top of Quotes. Select unwanted symbols and use delete to hide them, or drag a symbol with its move handle to reorder it. A symbol with an open position, pending order or open chart cannot be hidden. Hiding a watchlist entry does not close a position or cancel an order.

FXTRADING.com offers a wide range of markets through the MT5 platform, including:

  • Major, minor, and exotic currency pairs

  • Precious metals like gold and silver

  • Global stock indices

  • Commodities such as oil and natural gas

  • Cryptocurrency CFDs

From the iOS app, you can monitor and submit orders for instruments currently shown as available. An instrument’s appearance does not guarantee that it can be traded at that moment or that an order will execute; check market hours, product status, account permissions, prices, liquidity, connection, and the execution result.
