Mobile menus vary by MT4 or MT5 version, iOS or Android version, and server configuration. Use the exact platform, account number and assigned server shown in the FXTRADING.com Client Portal.
Before connecting
Use Client Portal → Service Hub → Download Center to reach the currently approved app or store entry.
Confirm whether the account uses MT4 or MT5.
Record the trading account number and exact assigned server.
Use the trading/master password for trading access or the investor/read-only password for view-only access.
Connect an existing account
Open account management in the matching MetaTrader app. For MT5, use the device-specific routes below.
Tap the add-account control. If your version offers a choice, choose connection to an existing account rather than opening a new demo or real account.
Search for the exact server assigned to the account and select it.
Enter the trading account number and the intended password type.
Sign in and verify the current account number, server and access type.
MT5: iPhone and Android connection routes
On iPhone, open Settings and tap the current account at the top to open the account list. Tap the add-account control, search for the assigned broker/server and select the correct result. Under Use Existing Account, enter Login (your trading account number) and Password, then confirm Server and tap Sign In.
On Android, open the side panel and account-management screen, then tap the add-account control at the top. Search for the assigned broker/server and select the correct result. Under Use Existing Account, enter Login (your trading account number) and Password, confirm Server and tap Login. Server search results may appear after entering three characters.
The account list may show a last known balance. A saved account entry or cached balance alone does not prove an active server connection or an up-to-date balance. Verify the selected account and connection before relying on its information.
Do not select Open a Demo Account when trying to connect to an existing FXTRADING.com account. An MT4 account cannot connect in MT5, and an MT5 account cannot connect in MT4.
Switch between saved accounts
Open the Accounts list and tap the intended saved account. Confirm the account number and server before viewing or sending any instruction. Removing an account from the device removes the saved connection entry; it does not close the trading account at FXTRADING.com.
Common mobile tasks
Quotes: view prices and add a symbol through the add-symbol or manage-symbol control. Search for the complete symbol, including any suffix.
Chart: open the selected symbol's chart and choose the available timeframe, chart type or indicators.
Trade: view the current account state, open positions and pending orders.
New order: select the complete symbol, then Trade or the new-order control; confirm order type, volume and optional Stop Loss/Take Profit before Buy or Sell.
History: view completed orders, deals or positions for an available date range. The exact categories differ between MT4 and MT5.
MT5 on Android: Find and manage symbols in Quotes
Open the side panel and select Quotes. Confirm the connected account and server before choosing an instrument.
Tap the add-symbol control at the top. Choose a symbol group or use the search bar to filter the available symbols.
Tap the row for the complete symbol you want to add, including its suffix if shown. Return to Quotes and check that this exact symbol appears in your list.
To view trading conditions, tap the symbol once and choose Properties. Check the displayed contract size, minimum and maximum volume, volume step, stop-distance requirements and quoting/trading sessions where provided. The available fields and values depend on the symbol and server.
Read the quote information
Tap a symbol and use Advanced view mode to show more price details. Depending on the available data, you can see Bid, Ask, Spread, the last-quote time and the daily High and Low. A last-quote timestamp is not a continuously advancing clock; check the connection and market session if prices stop updating. A visible symbol or quote does not, by itself, confirm permission to trade it.
Hide or reorder symbols
To hide symbols, open the edit control at the top of Quotes, tap the delete-symbol control, select the unwanted symbols and tap that delete control again.
A symbol with an open position or pending order cannot be hidden. Hiding a quote-list entry does not close a position or cancel an order; do not change a trade merely to tidy the list.
To reorder the list, use edit mode, press and hold the move handle beside a symbol, then drag it to the required position.
MT5 on Android: Open and adjust a chart
In Quotes, tap the required symbol and select Chart. Confirm the complete symbol name and current timeframe on the chart before making changes.
To switch instruments while staying on the chart, tap the current symbol name and select another available symbol. Check the new name after switching.
Tap the current timeframe in the top panel and choose the required period. In the timeframe-setup panel, a short tap selects a period; a long press adds or hides it in the quick-selection set.
Swipe horizontally to review the available price history. Move two fingers apart to zoom in or together to zoom out. Check the time axis so you know which period you are viewing; avoid dragging an order or position level when you only intend to move the chart.
Tap an empty area of the chart to open its radial menu. Use Indicators in the top panel or radial menu for studies, and the chart-settings control for the available chart presentation. These controls apply to the selected chart.
If prices move outside the visible range, use the chart-movement menu. Auto-scale adjusts the vertical scale while you scroll horizontally; Reset vertical scale restores a manually changed scale. Free chart movement allows movement in both directions. A change to the view does not place an order or modify an existing trade.
MT5 on iPhone: Find and organize symbols in Quotes
Open Quotes in the bottom navigation. Check the selected account and server before looking for an instrument.
Tap the search box at the top and enter the complete symbol name. You can also browse the symbol groups; include any suffix when matching a result.
Tap the add icon beside the intended result, then Done. Check that the exact symbol now appears in Quotes.
Tap the symbol and select Properties to review its available trading conditions, including contract size, minimum and maximum volume, volume step and sessions. Use the values supplied by the connected server.
To hide symbols, open edit mode, select the unwanted entries and tap the delete control. A symbol cannot be hidden while it has an open position, pending order or open chart. Hiding an entry does not close a trade.
In edit mode, hold a symbol's move handle and drag it to reorder the list. Swiping left on a symbol reveals quick commands; choose the chart control to open its chart, avoiding the trading control when you only want to view prices.
MT5 on iPhone: Open and adjust a chart
In Quotes, tap the required symbol and select Chart. Confirm its complete name on the chart; the bottom Chart tab returns to chart viewing.
Tap the current symbol name to switch instruments directly from the chart. Check the new name after selecting a different symbol.
Tap the current timeframe in the top panel to choose another period. In timeframe setup, a short press selects a period; a long press adds or hides it in the quick-selection panel.
Swipe left or right to review price history. Spread two fingers to zoom in or bring them together to zoom out. Check the time axis and avoid dragging trading levels when navigating.
Use Indicators in the top panel or chart context menu to manage studies. Open chart settings from the context menu to select the available chart presentation, such as bars, candlesticks or a line.
Use Auto-scale for horizontal scrolling with automatic vertical scaling, Free chart movement to move in both directions, or Reset vertical scale to undo a manual scale change. These viewing controls do not submit an order.
One Click Trading can submit an instruction without another confirmation. Use it only after reviewing the selected account, symbol and volume.
If the server, account or prices do not appear
Confirm the app is MT4 or MT5 as required by the account.
Copy the exact assigned server from the Client Portal and search again.
Check the internet connection and try another trusted network.
Restart and update the app.
Reinstall only after confirming the account number, server and current password are available.
Do not disable device security or use an unverified app to connect. If an order, open position or pending order needs immediate attention and the mobile controls remain unavailable, use the existing active-trading support route without sending passwords or verification codes.
