How do I use FXTRADING.com Web Trader?

Open Web Trader, choose the correct MT4 or MT5 account, use instruments, charts, Information, research and FXT AI, and troubleshoot account-state issues.

Web Trader is FXTRADING.com's browser-based access surface for supported MT4 and MT5 trading accounts. Available accounts, instruments and features depend on the selected account, current build and market state.

Open Web Trader and choose an account

  1. Sign in to the Client Portal, open the app grid at the top right, and select Web Trader.

  2. Use Change account to choose the intended account, then verify the account number, MT4 or MT5 platform, and Live or Demo environment before continuing.

  3. Web Trader does not by itself identify the underlying platform.

  4. An investor/read-only login can view account information but cannot place or change trades.

Understand the account summary

  • Balance excludes unrealised profit or loss on open positions.

  • Equity includes unrealised profit or loss on open positions.

  • Margin is the amount currently used to maintain open positions.

  • Free margin is the amount currently available, subject to account and trading controls.

  • Margin Level shows Equity divided by Margin as a percentage when it can be calculated.

  • Trading Leverage is the current account maximum displayed by Web Trader; use the Client Portal if an eligible change option is shown.

Find instruments, use the chart and review current information

  1. Use Instruments search and the category selector to find the complete symbol.

  2. Selecting a symbol activates its tab and updates the chart and Information panel; available instruments and Favorites are account-specific.

  3. The embedded TradingView chart provides current intervals, chart types, built-in Indicators & Strategies, drawing tools, layouts, settings and snapshots.

  4. No current Web Trader control has been verified for uploading MQL indicators or synchronizing custom desktop indicators.

  5. For current symbol details, select or activate the complete visible symbol, then select Information.

  6. Review the displayed Decimal Places, Stop Level, Contract size per Lot, Margin currency, profit-and-loss calculation mode, minimum and maximum trade size, and weekday Quote and Transaction sessions.

  7. The current selected-account values and status are authoritative; do not copy example values from another account or symbol.

Use the chart tools

  • Choose from the currently displayed time intervals and chart types for the active complete symbol.

  • Open Indicators & Strategies for the built-in library, or use the drawing and measurement tool groups shown on the chart.

  • Use layouts, chart settings, fullscreen, snapshots and scale controls only as displayed in the current build.

  • A built-in TradingView item is not proof that a custom MT4 or MT5 indicator can be uploaded or synchronized.

Review research without treating it as an instruction

  • Financial Calendar can show country, event, impact, Previous, Expected, Actual and a UTC+0 event time.

  • News Analysis can show topic popularity, sources, mentions and time filters; No data can be a valid result.

  • News opens an in-product preview; View Full Content can open the external publisher's page.

  • Market Sentiment can show signals, ratings, confidence and history; dashes or No data can be valid states.

Read the position and order workspace

  • Open contains active positions and the actions currently displayed for each exact row.

  • Pending contains pending orders and only the editable fields or actions available for each exact order.

  • Closed contains the account history currently available in Web Trader.

  • The panel can be collapsed, and its menu can expose table-column and column-order controls.

The lower panel contains Open, Pending and Closed tables and the actions currently available for the selected account. Use only the controls shown for the exact position or order. The separately verified Web Trader pending-order cancellation path is not included until current-build testing is complete.

Use FXT AI with an account check

  • Available sections can include Market Forecast, Trade Review, Position Analysis, Quick Q&A and Deep Analysis.

  • Check and manually select the intended account inside every analysis workflow; do not assume it follows the Web Trader account selection.

  • Treat research and AI output as informational, not as an instruction or guaranteed result.

  • Availability, labels, credits, subscriptions and versions can change and should be read from the current product screen.

If account data is missing, stale or inconsistent

  • If Instruments shows No Data, Free Margin appears as zero unexpectedly, another account's history remains visible, the selected account is wrong, or reload returns to Accounts, stop before sending another order.

  • Recheck Change account once and record the selected platform/environment, complete symbol, displayed status, date and time with time zone, and the exact error.

  • Hide unrelated personal information in screenshots.

  • For account-specific investigation, use Client Portal → Service Hub → Create Ticket → FXTRADING.com Platforms → Available Infrastructure → FXTRADING.com Web Terminal.

  • Never provide a password, one-time code, private key or recovery phrase.
