Available pending-order actions depend on the platform, selected account, complete symbol and current build. Use the controls shown for the exact order and the current Specification or Information values.
Desktop MT4 and MT5
MT5 does not let you change a pending order’s volume in its modification window. In MT4, if Volume is not editable, cancel the original order and place a replacement. Changing the price, Stop Loss or Take Profit alone does not change the volume.
Open Terminal → Trade in desktop MT4, or Toolbox → Trade in desktop MT5. Find the exact pending order and check its order number, complete symbol, order type and volume.
Right-click that order and select Modify or Delete Order in MT4, or Modify or delete in MT5. Note the original price, Stop Loss, Take Profit and expiration settings before cancelling.
To cancel the original, click Delete. Wait for the server result and verify that the order is no longer pending. Check Terminal → Account History in MT4, or Toolbox → History in MT5, for its cancellation record.
Open New Order from the toolbar and select Pending Order. Choose the intended symbol and pending-order type, then enter the new volume, trigger price, Stop Loss and Take Profit. Set expiration only if the current order ticket offers it.
Review every field before clicking Place. A replacement is a new order; cancelling the original does not automatically copy its settings into the new ticket.
Check the server result and the new pending-order record. If the request is rejected or its result is unclear, check the order list before submitting another request.
If the original has already triggered into a position, manage that position instead of placing a replacement pending order. If cancellation fails, the original may still be active. One Click Trading can remove an extra confirmation dialog, so check the exact order before using a delete command.

In the selected account’s Pending area, locate the exact order and review its available edit fields. If volume is editable, update it and review the order before submitting. If the existing-order editor has no editable volume field, cancel the original using the displayed action and verify that it is no longer pending before placing a replacement. Enter the new volume, price and any other required fields actually offered by the current ticket, then review and submit. If the original has moved to Open, manage that position instead of replacing a pending order. Do not assume desktop MT4 or MT5 navigation applies.
Use the current Specification or Information panel for the permitted minimum, maximum and volume increment. Do not rely on a universal lot limit or an example from another symbol or account.
