System-event sounds report terminal status. They are separate from price alerts and mobile push notifications.
Change event sounds
Open Tools → Options → Events. Select Enable to activate the event list.
Double-click an event’s name or icon to disable its signal; double-click again to enable it.
Double-click its Action filename, select an available sound and press Enter to assign it.
Choose OK to save.
Common event signals

Email Notify | Check Terminal → Mailbox. |
News | Check Terminal → News. |
If no sound plays
Check Enable, the individual event signal and the selected sound file.
Check the computer’s audio output and volume. On Mac, use your installed version’s menus.
Use trusted sound files. Executable event actions are outside this guide. A sound does not independently prove order execution: check the trade record and Journal. This does not configure mobile notifications.
