MT4 desktop includes four built-in toolbars for frequently used commands:
Standard — general platform-management commands
Charts — chart-manipulation and analysis commands
Line Studies — tools for adding technical-analysis objects to charts
Timeframes — quick access to different chart timeframes
MT5 desktop groups its commands into three built-in toolbars: Standard, Line Studies and Timeframes. Do not expect a separate MT4-style Charts toolbar in MT5.
How do I restore a hidden toolbar?
Select View at the top of the platform.
Select Toolbars.
Select the checkbox beside each toolbar you want to display.
How do I customize a toolbar?
Right-click a toolbar.
Select Customize....
Add or remove the buttons you want to use.
How do I reposition a toolbar?
Toolbars typically appear below the main menu, but you can move them within the platform window.
Select and hold the dotted handle at the left edge of the toolbar.
Drag the toolbar to your preferred location.
Release it to dock the toolbar in its new position.
