Leverage Limits for Social Trading Signal Provider Accounts

Review the 500:1 maximum leverage for Signal Provider accounts, the factors affecting displayed leverage, and the risk considerations for Signal Providers and Investors.

Scope: The leverage available to a Signal Provider account can depend on the FXTRADING.com entity, region, account type, instrument and whether the account is subject to current or legacy settings. Use the leverage displayed for the account in the Client Portal.

Maximum leverage at creation

  • When you create a Social Trading signal or a fund in Funds Management, the maximum account leverage is 500 times (1:500).

  • Higher leverage tiers that may be available to eligible ordinary trading accounts do not apply to these two products.

500 times is an upper limit, not a guarantee of the leverage available for every instrument or trading condition. Actual available or effective leverage may be lower. Check the options displayed during creation and the applicable trading specifications.

For effective risk management, all Signal Provider accounts on FXTRADING.com have a maximum leverage limit of 1:500. This restriction is implemented to protect both Signal Providers and Investors from excessive market exposure.

Signal providers should consider this leverage cap when developing their trading strategies. While higher leverage can potentially increase profits, it also significantly increases risk exposure, particularly during volatile market conditions.

Investors should be aware of this leverage limitation when selecting Signal Providers to subscribe to. The 1:500 maximum leverage helps maintain a balanced risk profile while still allowing for effective trading opportunities.
