Fund Managers can reward introducers by sharing a portion of their Performance Fee through a flexible referral fee-sharing system.
Setting Up Referral Fee-Sharing
As a Fund Manager, you can:
Set a referral fee-sharing rate from 0.00% to 50.00%, inclusive, using up to two decimal places.
Update this rate at any time through the Client Portal
Allocate different rates to different introducers
Rates are displayed with two decimal places. Values above 50.00% are adjusted to 50.00%, and values below 0.00% to 0.00%. Check the displayed rate before selecting Confirm.
How do I adjust referral rates?
To modify a referral fee-sharing rate:
Log into your Client Portal
Navigate to Funds Management → Fund Manager → Promotional Settings
Find the introducer's name
Click Edit on the relevant introducer record.
Enter the new rate percentage
Click Confirm to save your changes.
How is the referral share calculated?
The calculation uses the Performance Fee the Fund Manager actually receives, rather than the amount invested or the fund’s total profit.
Multiply that amount by the referral fee-sharing rate divided by 100. Keep only the decimal places supported by the fund strategy’s linked MT account currency; discard additional digits without rounding.
Convert the resulting fund-currency amount to USD using the applicable fund-currency/USD exchange rate.
Keep two decimal places in USD, discarding additional digits without rounding, and credit the result to the introducer’s Investment Wallet.
Discarded fractions at both stages are not accumulated. A sufficiently small calculated share can therefore result in a zero credit.
Calculation Example
This example uses a USD fund account that supports two decimal places:
Performance Fee actually received by the Fund Manager: 100.00 USD
Referral fee-sharing rate: 1.05% (1.05 ÷ 100 = 0.0105)
Introducer receives: 100.00 × 0.0105 = 1.05 USD
Fund Manager retains: 100.00 − 1.05 = 98.95 USD
This system allows you to reward introducers while maintaining control over your fee structure.
